Puppets Go Last – My New Music Project Focusing on Fun Adventures in Sample Flipping and Beat-Driven Musique Concrète

Hi everyone. I’m kicking off a fun new music project today called Puppets Go Last 🎉.

New Bandcamp For the Project

Under this additional separate artist name and Bandcamp site https://puppetsgolast.bandcamp.com, I’ll be releasing tracks that are fun adventures in Sample Flipping  and beat-driven Musique Concrète.

Follow Along on the Adventure on Bandcamp and Instagram

Right now, I’m planning on dropping a new crazy single each month. I hope you’ll join me on this adventure by taking a moment to Follow my new profile. I also spun up a separate Instagram page for the project here.

I’ll of course still be releasing music on https://markmosher.bandcamp.com and other outlets, but this separate identity will allow me to feature these crazy new singles in one location.

New Single

To celebrate the new project (and Bandcamp Friday), I just released the first single called “Escape from Volcano Mountain” which you can listen to here.

Sliced, flipped, sequenced, and programmed on the Synthstrom Deluge. Performed on Deluge and recorded in a single take. Post-production in Ableton Live 11.2 including some light editing, some additional FX treatment, and mastering.

I hope you enjoy the new track. It was a hell of a lot of fun to make.

Have a great weekend.

Mark
