I, along with Langdon Crawford, am producing the Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet’s International Drone Day 2026 concert representing Boulder, CO. The concert will be a YouTube Premier on Saturday, May 30, at 10:00 AM Mountain Time (16:00 GMT).
This year, rather than contributing in a solo piece, I instead edited three live gig performance videos from ensembles I participate in with other Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet members. This includes the Synth Patrol: Drone Ensemble (Eddie Corcoran, Langdon Crawford, Brian Horsfield, Victoria Lundy, Mark Mosher, Christoph Scholtes), A.I. Winter (with Michael O’Bannon) and the Carbon Dioxide Ensemble (with Victoria and Tom Lundy).
How to Watch and Participate in Live Chat

Player lineup is in YouTube description.
Attendees can participate via live chat during the premiere.
Note for Roku / Apple TV viewers: The YouTube TV app often doesn’t show live chat (or it’s limited). The easiest setup is to watch on your TV and chat on your phone.
The musical performances feature a wide range of hardware and software synthesizers and techniques. Each performer also created a video using diverse production styles—from overhead gear shots and live gig footage to visual effects, animation, and generative video.
Player lineup is also in the YouTube description.
Thanks
Big thanks to Langdon Crawford for video editing / opening theme / intermission music, Victoria Lundy for graphics, and Michael O’Bannon for the inspiration to produce this series. I provided a song for the end credits.
And of course, thanks to all the players who put in the time to create their pieces.
Happy DR(((O)))NE DAY 2026.
Mark Mosher
