Happy New Year + Video Excerpts from My New Years Eve Eve Show on the Deluge Groovebox

Happy New Year!

I rang in the New Year early by performing a live set on Dec 30th for a New Years Eve Eve Salon LIve from Turtle Cove.

I performed a 35-minute set on the Synthstrom Deluge groovebox. Here is a 3-minute video excerpt from my set which is loaded with super fun sample-flipped glitch, techno, and electro tracks.

1 – “Glitch in the Folklore Machine”
2 – “So Much Leisure Time”
3 – “Escape from Volcano Island”
4 – “Ups and Downs”

One of the excerpts in this video is from the my Puppets Go Last Single “Escape from Volcano Island” which you can stream/buy here.

I’ve spent over two years slowly building up an hour+ live set on the Deluge with original music so this was a great way to kick off this show and rig for 2023.

As you can see from the video, one of my goals with this set and rig is to create a performance framework to fuel fun adventures in Sample Flipping and beat-driven Musique Concrète.

More performances and videos to come so please take a moment to subscribe to my YouTube.

Wishing you and yours a safe, fun, musical, and happy 2023.

Cheers,

Mark
