In 2012 founded the Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meetup. I’ve hosted 45+ events in over three years.

440+ Members All Along the Front Range

The meetup, which started as the “Boulder Synthesizer Meetup”,  has grown to over 440+ members all across the front-range. This necessitated a name change and we are now the Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meetup (RockyMountainSynth.com). Typical attendance is usually between 40-50+ people depending on the time of year, weather, and the theme. We’ve had some massive events as well. For example, Ableton chose our meetup as the launch-point in Denver for Live 9.5 and Push 2. We had over 110 people in attendance for that event.

Our members come from diverse backgrounds and interests and include synthesists, musicians (pro & hobbyists), educators, industry folks, producers, performers, engineers…

Focus is Social and Networking

The meetup is a social gathering that allows enthusiasts in the Denver/Boulder area to share their passion for synths, network, learn, get hands on time with gear, tell people about projects and find collaborators. It is not an educational event – although most leave with some nuggets, inspiration, and contacts that will help them create more and better art.

Group Reviews

Very positive experience, very interesting mix of people, I try to go as often as my location and schedule allows.

Great vibe and you can meet a lot of awesome musicians and creative people here. Seems like there’s something for everybody here. Check it out!

I really like this group and what it represents for supporting the artist community. I’m looking forward to meeting more of you at the next event.
