The show will be a free improv session with the following rules:
- one synthesizer per player
- all inputs into main mixer/pa (no indie rigs)
- play single note holds only – focus is on sound manipulations & effects processing
- music from 7-9:30 or so.. continuous with all players as inspired
- players can break or not as desired

My Rig
I’ll be performing on Electron Octatrack.
This instrument is not normally known for drone and ambient work, but I find it’s well suited for this type of free improv. Just to give you an example of what can be done with an Octatrack, check out the is a short ambient video below using mostly Octatrack with Nave iPad synth and Tenori-on as sources. Here are podcast episodes where I used the Octatrack.
