2024—just wow! I feel incredibly fortunate to have had such an amazing year playing and producing with synths and connecting with people in synth communities—both in-person in Colorado and Chicagoland, and virtually with my new friends from the Moray Firth Synthesizer Club Scotland.

A huge thanks to everyone who came to shows and events. Special thanks to all those who helped inspire, organize, present, volunteer, perform and offer venues (Junkyard Social Club, Clancy’s Irish Pub) for Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet events. And thanks to all the other passionate event and synth community organizers.

Summary

Here is my synth year in review.

Produced 13 Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet events (7 IRL, 6 Online)
Released 4 singles across a variety electronic genres from ambient to industrial techno
Performed 11 live shows including solo acts, collaborations, and jam sessions
Produced and scored Multimedia Short Film “Revelate” and 15 YouTube videos
Delivered 4 technical presentations on music production and synthesis including the launch party for Ableton Move for Ableton Denver UG.
Participated in beta testing for Ableton and Synthstrom Deluge Community Firmware

13 Rocky Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet (RMSM) events including organization, artwork, and hosting. Big thanks to others who helped organize, presenters, performers, and attendees. We had a nice balance with 7 IRL and 6 online events, two of which were collaborations with the Moray Firth Synthesizer Club.
