Heads up Hydrasynth fans. ASM just released some videos on Poly Pressure and MPE with Ableton Live 11 and MPE Controllers. In the videos they show you how to configure the Hydrasynth for various uses as well as show you how to configure Ableton Live 11 with the Hydrasynth. They offer some clip editing examples with the new Live 11 Expression View as well.

Hydrasynth Expression – Part 1 Polytouch (Key Pressure) with DAW (Ableton Live 11).


Hydrasynth Expression – Part 2 MPE with DAW (Ableton Live 11). It ends up Hydrasynth can also be used as an MPE controller with both the polytouch keybed and ribbon strip 😮. When the ribbon strip is set to “pitch bend mode” outputs MPE Slide. While it’s monophonic and influences all active notes it’s still pretty cool and useful!
