Synth Designer Ess is Leaving Elektron to Release New Instrument with Felisha Ledesma Under the Name Fors

Elektron Synth Designer Ess announced on his Instagram feed that he’s leaving Elektron to release his own instrument along with Felisha Ledesma.

“I’m leaving Elektron 🪂

From humble beginnings in customer support to designing the synthesizers of my dreams. Never could I have imagined that I would be a part of some of the most successful instruments that Elektron ever launched. From designing the UI/UX of the Digi-series to the synth engine of the Digitone and Model:Cycles, it’s truly been special.

However, it’s time for me to move on and move forward. At the end of the month, you’ll find me in my new home in Berlin – working on the finishing touches of my very own synthesizer under the name @fors.fm with @felishaledesma

And if anyone is wondering; yes – I’m open for work!”

I’m a HUGE fan of the Digitone so I’m really excited to see what they come up with.
