And What Do The Trees Hear When the Wind Blows DSCN4125

My song is an ambient sonic journey starting with natural sounds which morph into the hidden inner world of trees and back again. The piece starts off with a120 degree stereo field recording of wind blowing through aspen trees and surrounding trees in Louisville, Colorado just outside of Boulder. All harmonic content from my song is derived from the field recording. I’ll do a behind-the-scenes post on this in the future if you’d find it of interest.
